🎮 How to Apply the Activity — Teacher Guide (3-Lesson Mini-Module)

Lesson 1 — Area Plan (15 min): Open the Area Plan tab. Groups sketch the shops and markets nearest to their homes. Type shop names and click grid cells to mark them visually. Teacher collects plans and groups students into "shop or street clusters" for Lesson 3.

Lesson 2 — Product Research (35 min): Each student picks one item their family buys regularly. Open the Product tab — use the interactive Product Anatomy Checklist to answer all 10 questions (local? animal tested? recyclable? plastic-free?). Use the AI prompt cards to find additional information.

Presentation Prep: Students prepare a 3-minute mini-presentation of their findings. Open the Present tab — the live 3-minute timer and checklist guide preparation. Canva or AI tools can be used for visual design (see Resources).

Lesson 3 Part 1 — Clusters (30 min): "Shop or street clusters" take turns sharing their mini-research results. A designated student summarises each cluster. Use the Cluster Vote scoreboard on the Present tab for peer evaluation.

Lesson 3 Part 2 — Pros & Cons (10 min): In the Pros & Cons tab, each group picks 2 positive things and 1 thing to improve about their shopping habits — with reasons. Use the grammar box for comparative language support.

Reflection & Homework (5 min+): Open the Reflect tab. Class discusses: Did this change your view? How did AI help? Homework: find an eco-friendly business near your home — explain why it qualifies using comparative adjectives.
