On 12 February 2026, Giuseppe Capalbo held an introductory seminar for the eTwinning project “(Eco) Time Capsule: Messages for a Greener Future”, co-founded with Fatma Dalgiç. Representatives of five participating schools joined the meeting: one school in Italy, three in Türkiye and one in Spain.
The project invites pupils to explore everyday sustainability through English, digital tasks and international exchange. Its published description includes creating short environmental messages, exchanging printed cards and preparing a shared time capsule to revisit later.
Reported within the Italian team’s EcoLingua activities, the initiative provides a school-based context for linking language learning with environmental responsibility. The introductory meeting brought the participating schools together ahead of the classroom activities that followed.
