EcoLingua Project Partners Met in Lithuania for an International Working Meeting
An international working meeting titled “Implementation, Digital Development, and Teacher Capacity Building” was held in Lithuania between 4–8 May 2026 as part of the Erasmus+ KA220-SCH EcoLingua Project, coordinated by Balıkesir University Necatibey Faculty of Education.
The meeting was attended by the project coordinator Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Saraç, together with project team members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilek Tüfekçi Can and Asst. Prof. Dr. Tutku Başöz. The event brought together project partners from Türkiye, Spain, Italy, and Lithuania.
Throughout the meeting, partners reviewed the English language teaching materials, digital activities, and gamified practices developed within the scope of the EcoLingua Project, with a particular focus on environmental awareness and sustainability.
During the five-day programme, the partners discussed the dissemination of project outputs, teacher training activities, the quality evaluation process of digital materials, and the work to be completed in the final phase of the project.The EcoLingua Project aims to develop innovative materials that integrate environmental awareness into English language teaching and to support the effective use of these materials by teachers and students.
