We’re excited to share two fresh outcomes from our EcoLingua work—both highlighting how sustainability can be meaningfully woven into English Language Teaching!

- Pre-service Teacher Insights on Ecology in ELT: Practicum observations indicate strong belief in integrating environmental themes, but only a moderate level of implementation in classrooms and textbooks—pointing to a need for richer, greener EFL materials and activities.
- In-service Teacher Reflections on EcoLingua Strategies: Sixty-nine teachers reported high willingness to use gamification and SDG-aligned project work to deepen both language learning and ecological awareness, while noting challenges around curriculum alignment and resource access.
These works were part of the ISNITE 2025 Abstract Book (Bursa), highlighting EcoLingua’s growing footprint in teacher education and sustainability in ELT. ISNITE2025 Abstract Book
