In March 2026, Giuseppe Capalbo launched classroom activities for the eTwinning project “(Eco) Time Capsule: Messages for a Greener Future”. The first activity invited students to create an Eco Promise Wall and make commitments to more environmentally responsible behaviour.
According to the Italian team’s report, two classes took part, involving 15 students working at A1+ to A2 level. The completed walls brought pupils’ environmental promises together in shared displays, connecting the project’s sustainability focus with classroom participation.

The activity followed an introductory meeting between participating schools in Italy, Türkiye and Spain. Reported as part of the Italian partner’s EcoLingua work, it illustrates how environmental themes can provide a concrete focus for language-learning activities and cooperation between schools.
