EcoLingua Project Dissemination: Workshop Presentation at Future-Ready FLT Conference
We are pleased to announce that EcoLingua project coordinators, Serhat Güzel and Mehmet Saraç, will present a workshop titled “A Gamified Trial for Eco-Aware Language Teaching: A Window into EcoLingua” at the international conference Future-Ready FLT: Differentiation and Sustainability in English, German, and French Programs, hosted by Bursa Uludağ University School of Foreign Languages on May 2, 2025.
The event, held at the Prof. Dr. M. Mete Cengiz Convention Centre in Bursa, brings together language educators to explore innovative, inclusive, and sustainable teaching strategies. Supported by the Eaquals Member Event Fund Scheme, the conference emphasizes accessible, eco-conscious professional development.
Our workshop introduces participants to the EcoLingua project’s vision of integrating environmental awareness into English Language Teaching (ELT) through gamified digital tools and eco-critical pedagogy. In this hands-on session, participants will explore creative approaches to designing sustainability-focused lesson plans using interactive, future-ready methodologies.
We are proud to contribute to the professional dialogue on sustainability in education and excited to share the outcomes of the EcoLingua project with a wider academic and professional audience.
